ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR

What inspires me to teach? Well I know that consistent movement is what keeps me feeling like me. I am constantly striving to move in a way that feels therapeutic and loving in my body and I get fired up when others feel the same. I am no stranger to having things happen to my physical body that are out of my control which keeps me motivated each day to keep ebbing and flowing with the tides of change. You won't hear me talking about weight loss or "no pain, no gain" in my practices. You will hear me giving options constantly so that we can all move in a way that feels good in our bodies. My desire is to make every practice an experience.

So how did I get into movement? Well I honestly can't remember a time that I wasn't moving . It began for me in the dance studio as a young child. I shuffled and plie'd my way through life, using the studio as a safe space to navigate all that the world threw at me.

I later opened my own studio The Align Experience and proudly taught dance and operated my business for almost nine years. After selling my studio, my movement practice shifted to barre & yoga and for over ten years now, I've been teaching throughout Massachusetts, New Hampshire and now virtually!

I also love teaching teachers! I am a barre master trainer and have led both local and national barre certifications and continuing education programs and am proud to mentor other movement instructors.

I could go on and on about how much movement means to me or you could take a class with me and experience it for yourself.
