Outdoors at the Farm
Looking for an outdoor private party venue in NH?
We’ve been offering magical experiences at the farm for almost a decade. From birthday parties to graduation celebrations, bridal showers to weddings—our farm in Newfields is a unique, casual outdoor farm venue to fit your needs. We’ve got plenty of parking, lots of picnic tables, an outdoor stage with a living roof, a PA for any musical or audio needs, and onsite catering.
Enjoy the beautiful view from the patio overlooking the wildflower meadow and animals grazing on pasture. Whether it be sitting by the fire pits, strolling the fields, visiting the animals, or straddling up to the copper-topped bar, we’re sure you’ll leave with an experience that will bring you back for years to come.
Vernon Family Farm
Vernon Family Farm is a first-generation mixed-production farm located on 33 conserved acres along the Piscassic River in Newfields, NH. With a focus on pastured livestock production, you’ll often see our animals roaming the fields as they graze during the warmer months. We sell most of our products through our farm store which is open year-round. We also wholesale and deliver to regional grocers, stores, businesses, and restaurants.
Since its founding in 2014, we’ve also been hosting agritourism events. These events have blossomed into an annual summer and winter event series that attracts guests from around the region. The sights, sounds, smells, and flavors are unique to our working farm.
The Outdoor Space
Our farm and patio area can accommodate 300 people. It includes:
4 fire pits with seating for 32 guests.
Picnic table seating for ~160 guests.
Side field which can easily accommodate up to 200 guests and has an additional fire pit.
There is a 20ft x 30ft stage with a covered living roof with the wildflower meadow and pasture just beyond. Our beautiful wildflower meadow may or may not be open or in bloom depending on the time of year. In general, it blooms from mid-June through the end of October.
We have parking in the field for up to 300 guests, and two portable restrooms with a hand wash station and waste disposal are included. Handicap parking is also available.
On-site Catering
Vernon Kitchen is our fully licensed and insured farm to table catering company. VK has a full food and liquor catering license so we can cater throughout the state of New Hampshire (not just at VFF). Our food blends the flavors of New Hampshire with unique seasonal influences.
Our focus is creating delicious ways for you to enjoy what's been raised on pasture at VFF. We’re known for our smoked and fried dishes, and for utilizing local and season products.
