Tickets are required for this agritourism event.

Join us at Vernon Family Farm for a fun and interactive Sushi Making Class with Misa’s Clean Kitchen! Kids will learn how to roll sushi, practice age-appropriate knife skills, and explore colorful, seasonal veggies together. All ingredients will be local—sourced from Vernon Family Farm—and organic when possible.

🐷 After class, we’ll take a special trip to visit the pigs and feed them leftover veggie scraps—an unforgettable way to connect food prep with sustainable farming!

🥕 Two age-specific sessions:

  • Preschool & Early Elementary (ages ~3–7): Caregivers must stay for this session.

  • Upper Elementary & Middle School (grades 4–7): A deeper dive into technique and creativity!

🌱 All are welcome, and space is limited.
🚫 No refunds unless the class is cancelled due to weather.
📍 Held at Vernon Family Farm.

Come roll with us, explore the farm, and have a deliciously good time!

About the Instructor
Misa is a certified health coach, former first grade teacher, cooking instructor, and the owner of Misa’s Clean Kitchen. She loves working with kids and showing them that food can be both delicious and nourishing. Many of the recipes she shares feature a special nutrient-dense ingredient, such as vegetables or beans, and are carefully chosen to help expose kids to a variety of veggies in a fun, no-pressure environment. Misa believes in the power of hands-on learning and is always amazed at what kids are willing to try when they’re part of the process.

She’s excited to bring her passion for food and teaching to Vernon Family Farm (for the 3rd year)—where kids will create, explore, and taste together!
